Duct Installation measurements

The main purpose of the measurement series was the direct and accurate placement of a duct (here Schneekluth Wake Equalizing Duct - W.E.D.) on stern position of a Bulk Carrier. Specifically, there were defined the excess material on duct element, as also the exact installation positions on ship. By utilizing Laser Scanner and industrial Total Station technology, METRICA S.A. team accomplished the detailed scanning of the duct, of the ship stern and marked the exact welding – cutting positions.
